Pikes Peak Robotics
Over the course of the VEX Robotics VRC season, Jacobs employees have been volunteering with Pikes Peak Robotics to assist middle school and high school students putting their skills to the test in some friendly robotics competition.
Jacobs loves supporting students in their STEM activities and promoting problem-solving and teamwork skills!

Local representatives for Jacobs Employee Networks (JENs) VetNet, Women's Network, and Enlace provided lunch and an overview of JENs to employees in Colorado Springs. These groups are an initiative to foster an inclusive culture where everyone can belong and truly thrive. JENs offer our employees with networking, career and personal development opportunities and the chance to make a positive difference in our community.

Ronald McDonald House Charities
Jacobs employees donated over $500 worth of gifts and necessities to the families at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado this holiday season! Jacobs is a proud partner throughout the year, so it only felt right to end 2023 by bringing holiday cheer to our friends at Ronald McDonald House.
Hoedown for Heroes
This November, Jacobs was a sponsor for the Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center Hoedown for Heroes event that supports military, veterans, and their families. Jacobs employees had the opportunity to put on their cowboy boots and hats to participate in a Western themed night with live and silent auctions, and a Western BBQ dinner and music!
Thank you Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center for putting on a great event and allowing Jacobs to support the military community!

AUSA Redstone-Huntsville Chapter
Jacobs Missile Defense Group employees, Candice Howell and Katie Kelley, represented Jacobs at the AUSA Community Partner Leadership Breakfast in Huntsville, AL. The Redstone-Huntsville Chapter of the Association of the United States Army is a private, nonprofit, educational Association of individual, business and organization members dedicated to supporting and maintaining a strong national defense with an emphasis on the role of the United States Army.
Annual IRES Small Business Awards
The Jacobs Missile Defense Group presented American Wordata (AW Data) with the "Small Business of the Year" award on October 17th at the Annual IRES Small Business Awards Ceremony. AW Data is an Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) that continually provides outstanding support and service to the IRES contract. The company is a valued partner on our most critical projects and always goes above and beyond to ensure success.
Falcon Foundation
For the fourth year in a row, Jacobs has presented a check to the Falcon Foundation. This year at the Air Force vs Wyoming game, Mark Rieker, Deputy Stakeholder and Task Integration Manager for Jacobs Missile Defense Group and Dave Dykhoff, General Manager for Jacobs NORAD Operations Group presented a check to Gen Lorenz USAF (Retired) of the Falcon Foundation. The Falcon Foundation provides an opportunity to highly motivated young people to receive assistance in their admission to USAFA through the foundation's scholarship program. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado
Caren Lyle from Jacobs and her husband, volunteered at the RMHCSC. The potato bar they cooked for the families was a hit! Volunteers like Caren and her husband help RMHC keep critcally ill children and their families close together during the times when families need it most.
Rocket City Trash Pandas
As part of an employee appreciation event, Jacobs employees in Huntsville, AL had a rocking night out supporting the local Rocket City Trash Pandas baseball team! Over 200 employees and guests attended the game and enjoyed a night of baseball, fun, food, and fireworks!
Peak Cyber Symposium
Jacobs is a proud sponsor of the Pikes Peak Cyber Symposium. This symposium is a great event for cybersecurity professionals and newcomers to connect and network, whilst learning about the latest trends and technologies from the speakers.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado Golf Tournament
Jacobs was a proud sponsor of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado Memorial Golf Tournament! As one of RMHC's largest fundraisers, the Cameron Memorial Golf Tournament provides critical support to families who have children in the hospital for extended periods of time. Basic food, housing, and living provisions along with emotional support for these families is able to be provided thanks to this fundraiser.
Pikes Peak School of Expeditionary Learning
Matt Haselhorst from Jacobs had the opportunity to speak with the 5th grade class at Pikes Peak School of Expeditionary Learning in Falcon, CO. To help with the students' understanding of space as part of their class expedition, Matt delivered a presentation on how aspects of his job relate to space. The students thoroughly enjoyed his presentation and gifted him beautiful space-themed thank you notes!

Jacobs regularly participants in COS Cybersecurity First Fridays, a casual event for socializing and networking within the cybersecurity industry.
Space & Missile Defense Symposium
James and Marcia were proud to represent Jacobs Team IRES at the Annual Space & Missile Defense Symposium in Huntsville, AL! The Symposium is the leading educational, professional development, and networking event in the space and missile defense community. Top government and industry leaders come together to discuss the latest industry updates through panels, technology and product demonstrations, and networking events.
Switchbacks FC
Thanks to our Employee Morale and Welfare Committee, the Colorado Springs teams got to enjoy a fun night out over the weekend! Thanks to all those who came to cheer on our local Switchbacks soccer team!
VEX Robotics
Jacobs Employee Networks, VetNet and Women's Network, teamed up to volunteer at VEX Robotics Competition. This competition supports junior high and high school students in STEM activities and included separate competitions for aerial drones and robotics. Our volunteers served as judges for the robotics competition, which included reviews of the students' engineering notebooks and interviews with competitors to determine how they managed their builds and worked as a team.
